pyRevit ships with a decent set of configuration defaults. If you like to change any of these settings however, open the pyRevit Settings and follow the sections below.
There is not much that you need to set after install. Take a look at the sections below and see if you would like to make adjustments for a better experience

Select the desired language from the UI/UX section in the Settings tool
pyRevit has a logging system that can report the activities on various levels, (DEBUG, INFO, ERROR, ...). You can select the level of information that pyRevit is going to show especially at load time.
The options are explained clearly in the Settings window. Pick the one that is appropriate for you.
If you are a DynamoBIM user, you need to use the Dynamo-safe IronPython engine. Open the Core Settings section and select the appropriate IronPython version. Restart your Revit after changing any of the engines.
You can select which version of Revit you want pyRevit to be attached to. When pyRevit is attached to a Revit version, it will load in that Revit version environment.
